I’ve a 60-14 2” which ends up being my back pocket pistol more often than not.
Got a nice 30-1 3”, love it.
But you’re 3” model 60 with sights is on my short list. Very nice!

j frames are just because. lol. like the 638, the 63, and the 3inch 60 (mini L frame look).
I have a thing for L frames. My first S&W, 357 magnum was this no dash 686
Eventually that 1 turned into a few more
Since we are discussing 2 of the best models, I would suggest the vintage model 27’s should be included also. This one is a no dash

Ok, ok! Here’s my second fave:
It’s a plain-Jane 67-1, which used to be my Dad’s bedside gun. I gussied it up with a pair of Keith Brown Ropers, which are my favorite. It’s a service revolver that thinks it’s a target gun, and it’ll just about hang with my Pythons. My pet load of a Rim Rock 158 grain LSWC over 5.4 grains of Silhouette does 925 fps out of it’s svelte 4” tapered barrel and will put them all into 2” at 25 yards easy. I’m trying to hang onto it a little longer before my teenage daughter officially steals it.

If I could have just one it would be with the 5" barrel. But a 3 1/2" barrel Model 27 would be next on my "Must Have" list!

My vote would go to a Mod28 4in with stock grips and a Tyler T adapter. The low luster finish and absence of the 3 Ts make it look like a workhorse.
