Not what we need at a time when IL is getting CCW. I wonder how it will play out. I don't see either men doing what was right.

Milwaukee: Pair of men with concealed-carry permits engage in shootout

Two Milwaukee men -- each with a state permit to carry a concealed weapon -- traded dozens of shots in a rolling shootout through two sides of town and down a freeway, the kind of scenario concealed-carry opponents feared would turn road rage incidents deadly.

But he also said their irresponsible gun use is outweighed by at least five instances in Milwaukee in which permit holders stopped crime or saved a life with their weapons.

"This has always been one of my concerns (with the concealed-carry law) -- that things like road rage could turn out like the wild, wild West," he said. " Here we are."

Just a thought... If someone shoots at me an drives away, I'm not going to follow them. The guy sounds like he watches too many movies.

People with commercial drivers licenses kill people on the road every day....does that make all the other commercial drivers look bad? Nope...

Yeah, that's never good, follow them down the road and shoot out their tires....after the threats gone.

Don't remember that being taught in the o'l CCW class.

Consider that ONE of them may be innocent, and other clearly out of control. What would any one of US do if assaulted? Let the police figure it out. All we can have here is conjecture.

While a rather excellent example of what not to do on every single level, it's only slightly on topic....

Just because a news story has a gun associated with it does NOT make it suitable for discussion on THR

I'm going to add a quick note:

a deadly threat is a deadly threat is a deadly threat. Act in a way consistent with the law and good ethics.

I do agree with Al that the thread as posted is OT.
