Tyler T-grip: what's the difference between #3 and #3R?

Or more directly; why would there need to be one model for square butt K-frames and one for round butt K-frames? I mean, the adaptor goes on the frontstrap...

I'm obviously missing something.

I believe the angle of the front grip is slightly different between the square and the round and also one is 1/8" or more longer.
