I see these grips which look cool but I can't figure out how they're attached or how it feels to shoot with a metal grip. Are the Tyler T grips comfortable?

If a gun's grip isn't plastic then they're usually metal of some kind. The Tyler T is no different.
They are a great addition to fill the void behind the trigger guard. Over the years several companies have made them including Pachmyer and S&W. I like my Tyler Ts the best.
They have a metal clip that goes on each side of the grip frame and the grips hold it in place.

This is my everyday 2nd/back up/off duty carry gun with Tyler T. It rides in an ankle rig 99% of the time.

I bought an older S&W 638 yesterday (no lock). Just for laughs I asked if they had any Tyler T's laying around. So they came out with 2 polished ones for a J frame. I got em for $10 each. I put Tylers on all my J's, an my 2.5" 19, an my Detective special.

The only thing I have found so far that I like better than service stocks and a Tyler, like Brian shows in his picture ^^^^^, is the Miculek grip. I still use the Tyler and service stocks on all but a couple of my guns becuase the Miculek grip is large and very long making carry very hard for me.

I have them on Smith J's, K's and N's. Not only is it a fantastic grip for shooting the guns I like the look of a polished Tyler and wood on a blue gun.

Nice pics. I'm thinking of replacing the factory wooden grip on the Lady Smith 36 and getting the service wooden grip with a Tyler T. I agree it's a sharp looking set. The current factory grips on this gun is just way too small and disappears in my hands and I've got small hands as it is so it's not comfortable to grab. I'll probably order this soon, thanks.

The beauty of the Tyler T-Grips is that they greatly enhance the grip while preserving the compactness of the gun. They make a carry revolver even better.

I've only come to know about them recently but I've never seen a pic without finger grooves. They look sweet. Maybe I'll pick up a stainless one and smith and wesson service grips, which should look nice against my blue LS 36. Thanks folks.:)

Yes. I believe the old Pachmyer versions could be had without fingergrooves.

Correct. My Pachmyer grip adapters are a hard plastic material. Same with the S&W, which may be made by Pachmyer since they look a lot alike. Work just as well as the Tyler T.
Attached is a pix of my Mod 19 with the Pachmyer adapter.
