I have a Uberti Cattleman with a 5.5" barrel and I noticed lately that the hammer firing pin has a little "rock" or movement to it. The gun has had about 900 rounds fired through it. Is this normal? I tried to see if I can tighten it, but there doesn't seem to be any screw to tighten it. Anyone else have this problem? Am I worrying about nothing?

Normal. Unless you're having problems with it not contacting the primers properly and misfires resulting I wouldn't worry about it.

This is normal.
The slightly loose firing pin allows the pin to align itself with the firing pin hole so it doesn't enlarge the firing pin hole in the frame by striking off center.

I have a cattleman myself and it is just a lil loose too thats fine

I have a American Arms 5 1/2in 45cal Regulator...Think its the same gun as the Cattleman...it to has a little play in the firing pin...

thanks for your help

Thanks guys, I was a little worried, and thinking I might have to send it to the factory. You all put my fears to rest.
