Uberti Cattleman revolvers with crater around firing pin hole.

Revolvers with transfer bars such as the Pietta have bushings.As far as I have observed the revolvers with Colt style hammers and firing pins do not.The revolver in the original photo has had some sort of firing pin bushing installed at one time.

No... The revolver in the first picture never had a bushing. Never had a bushing. The picture was taken with an endoscope that made the crater look much deeper than it was. The outside diameter of the crater is smaller than a large pistol primer and only a couple thousands deep. Never had a bushing.
