Hello all,

I had a chance the other day to shoot what I was told is an Uberti Rolling Block pistol in .22 LR. It did say A. Uberti on the barrel and it was a great shooter. However, I've done a couple Internet searches and have come up with very little in the way of info. Has anyone ever heard of these? Are they still available? If they are I'd love to find one for myself. Thanks for your help!

It's certainly not shown on their currect web site. Likely an older gun which was discontinued many years ago. Uberti has been around for quite a long time after all.

A slick little pistol for sure. I'd love to have one in .38Spl or something like .25-20 Single Shot. It seems a little bulky for a .22.

It was pretty bulky for a .22, but it was one of the most accurate .22 handguns I've ever fired. It was almost like I didn't even have to try, it just pointed beautifully. I agree, I'd love to see it in .38 Special or even some older cartridges like .32-20 or .44-40.

Sometime in the late 1800s, the Navy had a 50 caliber rolling block pistol. Uberti did at one time make a RB pistol in 22 LR. I haven't seen one in a long time, not many sold.

There's a lot of models made by major makers that were made in small numbers or did not catch on and disappeared from public memory. Makers of imports like Uberti, Rossi, Taurus, Star, Astra, have been around for decades and generations. Beretta has been around for centuries. They made more models than I will ever know about, and firearms history has been my hobby for fifty years.

I liked the version in .357 Magnum. I wish now I'd bought one when I had the chance.
