Uberti trapdoor carbines..?

Been having fun with my Sharps and now I seem to be developing an "itch" for a trapdoor carbine... I'm thinking that with the light loads it would be fun for my kid to shoot since it has a shorter LOP and is a lot handier.

I looked at one once and they seem pretty well made and finished but would like some input from anyone who shoots one.

I've heard no bad things about that weapon. Those that I have seen were well made and nicely finished. They were well within specs. Go get one and have fun. You'll likely let your son shoot less as you see how cool a TD really is.....

Opps! My bad! The TD Carbine is a natural pointer and your daughter will love it! You will too!!!!

But that's ok. I got an 8 year old granddaughter that loves shooting my Marlin GG with Trail Boss loads and a 340 cast round. She'll fire off four and then ask for to reload!
