http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976647729.htm Check that auction out, and fill me in on what you think. I didn't know there was such a thing as a replica supressor for a real firearm. Or maybe I am just crazy, and its a normal thing
I see them quite a bit on rifles that should be short, but have 16" barrels to make them legal. Some people use fake cans to make them 'look cooler' i guess.
On a pistol? bleh. Actually, I'm not a fan of fake anything, on a pistol or rifle
I keep thinking that I need to get a fake can for my MAC10. I live in Missouri where an individual can own a machinegun, but not silencers (try to figure that one out). The MAC is much more controllable when you have something screwed onto the end to hold onto.
A bit like those fake selector switches and the like. The owner could spend a lot of time trying to convince the cops that the fake really is a fake. Plus, since it does reduce the sound a little (over the original barrel), it COULD be considered a REAL suppressor.
