What does it matter? They are not listening to us. Nobody is really hearing us, especially when the U.N has an international debate on GUNS and "our side" never mentions how the U.N. has sponsored victim disarmament policies that have lead to genocide... as we speak.

Agreed. They are so ineffective. Obviously their 16 resolutions did nothing for Iraq. But I suppose if they made a SEVENTEENTH resolution things would have been different.

Did you guys know that according to the UN's rules, a country cannot have its human rights record taken into account when deciding if they can sit on the human rights council?

Think about that. It's in the rules. That's all you need to know about the UN.

Why does the UN not a make any sense? Try to understand how the gov't of the Sudan functions and makes it's decisions and you'll have a bit of a guide to how the UN works.

I too agree.

Remove the UN from our soil, building and all. Stop paying for most of it and start putting that money back in this country instead. we could be paying bills off with what we pay those fools. Why do we pay inept whiners who do nothing but talk all the time but never do anything. Why do we pay people to hate us and tie only our hands because we play by the rules?I think 70-80% of the UN hates us anyway. Forget these monkeys and put that money back where it belongs...

One day the UN WILL be this country's down fall if we let it continue this way. We are paying people (VERY WELL I MIGHT ADD) to hate us. Where is the logic?
