Eh. The RP45 is 5 oz lighter, more ergonomic grip, 50% more capacity and $40 less. Better looking, too, IMO. I just grabbed a second one with night sights for $353 shipped, and the 5/8" diameter barrel made threading and installing an adapter for suppressor a snap. These things run like a top with every ammo I've thrown at them, limp wrist or not, suppressed or noisy.

I'm not sure what Ruger's target market is, but aside from loyalists, I think they missed it.
I agree entirely. Fantastic pistol and comically under appreciated. Here's a link to Grabagun, $295 shipped. https://grabagun.com/rem-rp45-45acp-14rd-4-25-sts.html

Sorry, until Remington gets a better reputation, none for me. Look at Tim over at MAC. The RP9 and RP45 have been jam-o-matics. The only negative thing people say about the RAP9 or RAP45 is that some folks complain about thumb knuckle.

RP9 used .38 super mags, the reason for the failures. RP45's have been fantastic. Ask owners, take youtube or media talking heads with a grain of salt. I like MAC, but my and my customers experience with the RP45's has been very positive.

Love that thin front sight and all the daylight it lets through. Great for old eyes.

I picked up a RAP9 from Palmetto for $250 and I’ve put about 300 rounds through it without any hitches. I couldn’t pass it up for that price.

Glad you’re seeming to like yours, I need to get out and shoot mine some more.
