Under 21 carrying a pistol

Im only 20 so i cant get my Chl. I live in Texas and im commissioned by the state of Texas to carry a pistol a work. Its weird that i can carry a pistol at work but I cant buy one or purchase ammo. So my question is this, What are the laws on me carrying my pistol concealed in my vehicle while driving (not just to work but every where) and also having it at home for HD?

You're over 18 so possession is no problem. In Texas, anybody who is in their car, with no unlawful purpose in mind, is okay with a handgun in the car. Anybody can have a gun at home.
