Janitor's Ammonia or Brush Solvent (in the bore, ONLY) may help.

If all else fails, you may want to coat the bore overnight in Ed's Red, or straight ATF.

Ammonia (applied carefully with a pipette and a rubber stopper in the muzzle) for 15 minutes and a flush.
Repeated as needed.

Rips copper right off. And loosens the mung in the bore

Worked for me with some nasty bored milsurps.

The CR 10 came. Boy does it smell lol. And i don't have a good sense of smell. But anyway im not impressed with it. It did not give me any green/blue patches. Grey yes. I followed the directions. And even tried a 15 min soak.

Wipeout foaming bore cleaner. I’ve tried them all it’s the easiest and the best bang for the buck.

The Mosin is done. I was going to get wipeout. I'll order some to have on hand. Im finally getting somewhere with the Mauser with the hoppes. I noticed something in the Mauser. There is some rifling missing on the breech end.
