Go back and read my post #3. They've got it. The researchers aren't just Bucky and Bubba from the mountains. They've got hair samples and DNA
Post #3 isn't exactly all that definitive as to who these great scientists were, what lab it was, etc.
Let me help you.

The program to which you referred was Monster Quest. Let's see, the blood samples sat out, exposed, for 2 years. This was discussed in this segment starting at about 1:35 onwoard
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_2JiMG6i4w&feature=related where the guys talk about the sample being so degraded that they can't even see it visually! Notice that Nelson is involved in the process. When first tested by an independent lab, the samples were negative. Then, when faced with results Nelson didn't like, he did his own testing and somehow countered the neutralizing effect of the galvanized metal (screws).
Sorry, don't buy it. If the guy had the ability to do the tests to start with, then why did he send out the samples instead of doing the test himself initially? Since he did the work himself, the notion of independent testing is right out the window. His results were not verified by an independent lab.
Unrecognized DNA does not prove Bigfoot. It proves unrecognized DNA. There is no direct evidence of how the samples got on the board and screws in question.
The hair samples are equally dubious. The rounded, uncut tip doesn't mean a thing except that the tip is rounded. Big deal. So then you are left with the medullary cavity. See starting about 1:35 again here,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oz5-MvyERko and then the pic of the medullary cavity at 1:42. He claims it isn't bear, but that it looks human to him. Interestingly, the image shown is very carnivore-looking when compared to images in "Identification of the Dorsal Guard Hairs of Some Mammals of Wyoming." Of course, that is just for guard hairs and does not include any of the other varieties of hair found on non-humans. Depending on the source or breakdown, humans are usually described with at least 6 different types of hair (head, face, body, limb, pubic, fringe) but with some variations or additional categories as well such as nasal, aural, etc. They are not uniform, nor are the different types of hairs uniform necessarily on other animals.
You forgot to mention in the show how the researchers such up various game cameras around the cabin in case they came under attack from a rock throwing bigfoot...and how they came under attack from rocks being hurled at them at night
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuv_dBfMGUM&feature=PlayList&p=4499CEAEA405E46F&index=3. You forgot to mention that it was amazing how the alledged bigfoot seemed to be able to know where
all the game cameras were placed and was able to avoid being spotting on any of them, including the infrared and thermal. It was almost like he wasn't even there, like he was....imaginary.
