I saw the Hollywood Engineering press the guy just posted about and it got me wondering how many other unusual presses you guys have. Please post pics! I have a pretty cool Texan that I will post pics of shortly.
I have tried to get either the Texan or the Hollywood press, but keep getting outbid at the last minute. It is the last thing I need is another press, have three set up on the bench and two or three more in my garage somewhere.
Most of the time I use 2 dies in mine, it seems to speed things up. I deprime and size and then move that shell over to the flaring die. so after my first shell I am doing 2 process's at a time.
My first press was a C&H that looks almost exactly like that one. I bought a progressive press last year, but I still do about half my reloading on the old C&H.
It is much faster than using a regular single-stage press, it is much faster to set up and adjust than a progressive press (for doing load work-ups or small batches), and I really like its primer seating.
