Update on Franchi Momentum Varmint Elite

I've gotten a bunch of PM's asking me how my Franchi Momentum Varmint Elite chambered in 223 is doing.

The answer is. It’s a dream come true and it was worth every penny. Today was only my second time shooting it . I had my targets stationed at 300 and 400 yards away. These were my best groupings today.

I'm using 55 grain Reloads from Freedom Munitions.

The first picture is 300 yards and the second picture is 400 yards.

Oh man. You have one too? It's funny. They just came out last year and I think they have perfected the formula.

Mr. Wick, sure looks to be a fine rifle in all respects. In your original post, you listed some of the characteristics you wanted in a new gun, but how did you even think to look at Benelli/Franchi? It wouldn`t even have entered my mind ( which probably says more about my mind more than anything else!). I didn`t even know they made rifles!

I noticed all the houses in the last picture. In my part of the world, NC, some of those residents would try and get the range closed. You’re lucky to have such a nice facility.

I was talking about the scope. My local range has targets out to 1350ish.
