I’ve got a 12-gauge Beretta O/U that I bought new in 1980 for about $800, if I remember correctly. It’s their field grade and I think it’s called a Pigeon 626, or something like that.

Well at a skeet shoot recently I noticed an inexpensive Yildiz O/U in the rack next to my Beretta and so I began to compare the two guns. Immediately I noticed that the quality of the wood on the two guns was miles apart: the Yildiz had much, much prettier wood. In fact, the Yildiz made the wood on my Beretta look downright boring and cheap :(.

The Beretta is supposed to be a quality O/U but the wood sure doesn’t portray a high-quality image.

So here’s the question: Can you get a stock-upgrade kit for these older Berettas? And if so, where?

Thanks,

Jason
