Went to Cabelas today to browse around and check on powder and primers. NONE. Anyhoo, i have the Uplula mag loader and figured i'd pick up a bushing for single stack mags. Sticker shock, they wanted $21.95 for that tiny piece of plastic. The loader only cost me $28.00. Asked the clerk to check the price, yup $21.95. Probably cost 10 for 1 cent to make. ReallyP===ed me off.

I never even knew about the insert till a few years ago as my loader for did not come with one. A friend purchased one and it came with two of the adapters for single stack mags. He gave me one.

I've heard of them, but my Uplula has been loading my single stack mags without the need for the bushing so I haven't pursued it.

Are you having issues using your Uplula without the adapter?

I just thought i'd mention how somethings are out of line in pricing. I own and ride two Shovelhead Harleys and am always looking for ways to improve the rideability and performance, that;s why I like the dodads and improved parts.
I have no problems with the loader as is, just wanted to improve it's performance. Been using it for many years and just thought i'd upgrade. I'll look for a friend who has two or go halfies with him LOL

For those who don't have an Uplula or don't know, the price of the adapter is for a quantity of 2.

I've owned (past tense) two shovels over forty years. The only way I found to improve them was to replace them with a Honda VTX 1800 Neo. You can stroke 'em but like loading cartridges hot you just wear things out faster.

However, there isn't a day I don't miss them. As to the OP, shoot 9mm and the problem is self-correcting . . . funning. :)
