US Optics SN-3 3.2-17x44mm TPal | Sin City Precision

The SN-3 3.2-17x44mm T-Pal is a variable magnification rifle scope from US Optics. The scope features first focal plane, a 30mm main tube, 44mm objective and side parallax adjustment as standard options. During the short time I have been using the SN-3 I have been very impressed. The scope is very robust and made to handle the harshest conditions. US Optics rifle scopes are very prevalent within the military, law enforcement and competitive shooting communities. The staff at US Optics is very knowledgeable and experienced and they were very helpful when selecting features that would best suit my needs. Jason Kyle did an excellent job explaining the pros and cons of different models and options and with Jason’s help I was able to put together what I felt was the perfect scope for my rifle

I chose the SN-3 3.2-17x44mm T-Pal because I felt it was a very practical magnification range for the rifle matches and long range shooting that we do. I like having the TPAL option(TPAL stands for “Turret Parallax” as opposed to their “ERGO” offering, which places the parallax adjustment up at the objective of the scope) of parallax adjustment on the scope turret housing because it’s easy for me to adjust from different shooting positions. The glass quality is excellent and I was very impressed by the clarity. The reticle is located on the first focal plane so that it scales with the magnification, keeping the sub tensions at a constant value. On the lower magnifications it can be hard to use the 1 MOA marks but the larger 5 MOA and 10 MOA marks make the reticle usable while greatly increasing your field of view. I’ve wanted to make the change to FFP for some time now because I feel it’s the best choice for the type of shooting I do.

I also did a follow up the scope after and spent a good amount of time with it shooting different matches;

Follow Up SN-3 T-Pal 3.2-17x44mm | Sin City Precision

After my inital review of the SN-3 3.2x17x44mm T-Pal I wanted to do a follow up. I wanted to touch on it again after using the scope for a substantial amount of time. It has been about 8 months and 2,500 rounds later. My shooting has consisted of tactical precision matches here in the south west.

The US Optics SN-3 T-Pal is built like a tank. It has held up to everything I’ve put it through. I haven’t gone out of my way to try and deliberately break it, but even if I did it wouldn’t be an easy task. It has spent a lot of time getting knocked around while shooting barricades and being shoved through port holes. US Optic scopes are known for their durability, customization and features. They are an excellent choice for serious rifle shooters. They offer a large line of scopes to accommodate different needs and budgets. Their customer service and warranty is one of the best in the industry. You can buy with confidence that USO is going to stand behind their product 100%.
