Use of a Smiths rubber cartridge case in a repro 1859 percussion Sharps carbine

Those shell and tube loading bullet and powder loading devices look interesting: just load your powder into the tube, top with your bullet holder with your bullet, insert the whole device into the breech, and withdraw the device, leaving the bullet and powder charge in the breech neatly. Looks it makes for quick reloading if you have a bunch preloaded and ready to go.
 
The Smith cartridges will not work in a percussion sharps chamber as they are larger in diameter.

tried almost everything out there

I would suggest go to Charlie Hanhns web sight contact him and get his tubes. I've tried the plastic tubes from everyone that offers them have a box of them that I no longer use. They are ok but need very careful handling to keep them from falling apart even in transport. You will find that most of the N-SSA guys roll there own or use Charlie's tubes.
