Anyone know what a CBOB .45 in good to excellent condition is worth nowdays?

Mine has a light scratch above the slide stop. My mistake..hadn't cleaned a 1911 in 20 years. This feature might make mine plummet in price, I don't know.

Am considering selling it locally, as I don't know if there is a FFL in my area to send it thru for the transfer.. (Clarkston, WA)

Here is the gun that i love to look at but hate to handle and shoot, as I don't like the 1911 grip or the trigger, even after forcing myself for a year.

It has around 250 rounds of FMJ and JHPs with only a couple ammo or
shooter induced stoppages. Reading about all of the problems with DWs
when they are breaking in..I do think that this is a fine runnin CBOB.

CZF I sure wish you lived in FL or me in WA as I would relieve you of that CBOB in a heart beat.

I have a bunch of 1911’s, some coasting 2 to 3 times what I gave for the CBOB (Valtro, PRO, Heinie Custom etc.) and I wouldn’t trade my CBOB for any of them. I just hope DW doesn’t find out they are selling these things way under market value until I can grab another.

Thanks guys. I still don't know how much this gun is worth.
Posted over on the DW section of 1911 forum, but in the wrong place
I guess.

Can't really put this in the Classifieds here , as I have not set a price.
Will be looking into FFLs who will do transfers in my area.

In any event, Thanks for the nice comments and emails.

I don't think you need an FFL in order to ship a handgun as long as you're sending it to an FFL or other legally authorized person. To sell your pistol via shipping you need the buyer to send a signed in ink copy of an FFL form for you to ship to, and then you'll have to send it UPS or FEDEX overnight express. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
