Personally I would love to have one with the pac lite barrel just for the weight difference. I would offer $350 for it, fix the rear sight, put a better trigger in it, and sell the original upper. For an out of the box gun I much prefer a buckmark though.

Thanks guys.

Just to be clear, the bottom of the sight appears to be mounted securely to the slide, but the top part that moves left and right when you adjust for windage appears to be loose somehow.

I think it just needs to be replaced.

Also, can anyone confirm that the screw that adjusts for windage does NOT click? I have never seen one before that does not click as you turn the screw. It is a VERY loose adjustment as well, the screw feels really loose as well and turns if you just blow on it! (Well... not quite, it just feels that way.)

Mine clicks into each position as you turn the adjustment screw. Not hard or loud but it definitely clicks into place. The blade is secure as well.

Thanks, that is what I expected should be the default behavior. It is definitely messed up then.

The sights on the pack lite barrel may be different than the originals. I think they come with sights on them.

Good point, I did not think about that, but I will check the original barrel when I get back home tomorrow and see if that sight can be moved over to the Pac Lite barrel.
