Not sure what category to list this under, so here it is. Does anyone here know how this operates or better yet the best way to hold while shooting? Could this really be considered a pistol or is the reference "zip-gun" more appropriate?
 
There is no best way to hang onto that thing.
Whatever works for you is your best way. :)

If you have one, you should have a manual. If you don't have one, look on their site to see how it operates.

My personal experience with the USFA Zip was not good... recently re-enforced when a coworker bought one and invited me to shoot it. We spent more time clearing it than shooting it. I guess that is what passes for "operating" the USFA Zip Gun.

Sad that Doug Donnelly stopped making a very high quality SAA to focas his companies attention to build this dangerous little heap of crap.
