Here in Nevada, we are required to qualify with any firearms to be added to our CCW, and those firearms are listed on the permit under the categories of "Make/Model/Caliber". Yesterday I qualified with a few more to be added, one being my Remington Rand 1911A1, dated 1943 (love it!!!)
My question is when I added my 1911, the instructor wrote down on the certificate, "Remington/Government/.45" Anybody else think that 1911 should be listed under the Model category? Should the model be 1911A1 possibly, since that's what it actually is? A friend had told me (yeah, I know....) they are usually listed as Government/1911/.45. Any truth to this?
Any other NV CCW'ers have a 1911 on their permit, and if so how listed? Even better or more relevant, anybody else have a Rand 1911 listed and how so? Thanks in advance y'all
