I have only reloaded 300Blk in subs, using Reloder 7 and 300-MP successfully. Now I have a mold for a 155 gr. gas-checked bullet, I started looking for supers.
Lyman's 50th list a 165 gr. gas-checked bullet, and has H335 data. And I saw an online post someone has listed same powder for 225 gr. subsonic.
Has anyone used H335 for this cartridge? Successfully?
For all the powders used in the cartridge, it just seems odd for this slower powder. I don't recall anyone mentioning H335.
I have a 1 lb. of the powder that's barely used.
TIA

Interesting. I've used tons of 335 in .223 but never thought about the 300. I feel like it's a bit fast on the 223 side, but as I understand it the 335 was mainly used for the .308 caliber. If you do go that route please update us.
For reference, I run a 125 grain over H110

If you can't find H-335 data for 300BLk from a reputable published source. Then it would be best to not try it as it can have dangerous consequences.

Is using a "barely used" pound of powder worth the risk of blowing up a gun and potentially ending with a severe injury.

While I would agree with you if that were the case. But Lyman has H335 data for 160 & 180 gr. bullets.
