I was given about 700 .45 230gr. plated round nose bullets. They have what appears to have a slight crimp grove on them about .340" above the base. I have never seen a grove like this on new bullets ant I thnik that maybe they were pulled from cases that had a slight roll crimp. Please look at the picture and tell me what you think if you would used them (plinking) or not. There does not appear to be marks o them that woule indicate them going into or out of the case. The only reason I think they are pulled is the crimp grove. Does the shape give you any clue as to the mfg. might be?
