I have a Ti-RANT 9 with a 1/2-28 piston. I have seen guys on line using their T-9’s with 300 BLK rifles, which, I assume, are like mine and have a 5/8-24 threaded barrel. I would like to do this, and I realize I need a fixed-barrel spacer and a thread adapter. Spacers are readily available from several sources, but I'm not sure about an adapter -- or whether it's even feasible to make an adapter to run a 1/2-28 piston on a 5/8-24 barrel. Are you guys aware of anyone who makes such an adapter?

Thanks.

If you can't find one, contact TROS USA ... He has several that aren't listed on his website, and prices are reasonable if he doesn't have one he can make one ... http://www.trosusa.com

Flynt, just sent you a PM with a link to Silencerstores website.

They have what you are looking for.

I am having a Devi of a time navigating THR posting on my phone.

Stop.

I just got an email from AAC that says do not shoot .300 blackout in a 9mm TiRant can.

It was in response to a question I had about my .45 can.

I would suggest you contact AAC and get a determination for yourself before you do any damage.

OK, That's good to know. I'll drop them a line.

Silencerco said the same about my Octane 45 (subsonic only) but I've never tried it as I have a YHM 30 Ti can that's effective enough for me with super & sub sonic loads.

Gas volume is going to be roughly proportional to powder charge. Gas pressure and temperature are strongly influenced by barrel length. Nearly every silencer company will give you the same answer to the subsonic question because of the Oops factor. "Oops! How did a supersonic get in that magazine?"
