And let KSL.com and Deseret Media know that yo do not approve of their decison. I did.

I will not conduct business with that organisation until they see the error of their ways.

Dang KSL for doing that. It literally happened as I was on there looking at guns. One second there was a bunch there, the next minute they were all gone. I was not happy.

You should tell your buddies that if they are going to "borrow" Gunbroker's user agreement, they should try a little harder than just doing a search and replace to update it.

Emphasis mine, in both cases.

I used to browse the KSL ads for some friends in UT to apprise them of deals they may want to check out. I find KSL's actions absurd and plan to write them. When my friend told me about this last night I predicted someone would fill the void. Glad to see it happening so soon.

Help them get some momentum.

Just inform "the Clinton guy" that will get a few hundred listings. :)

I'll pass this on to the Utah folks I know.

The only benefit to KSL being down was it may have discouraged people from panic buying with the intent of price gouging and profiteering if they didn't have a ready means to advertise their stuff. I see some ****** is already listing Pmags for $50 a pop.

I was down at impactguns down in ogden and noticed they had cut the price tags off the guns. I'm just glad that I bought everything that I needed before hand.

Is anyone buying at that price? It doesn't seem that they are. I sure hope so; I have 20 or so extras I'd happily sale for that. Of course I see people aren't even silly enough to buy the ones for $50 so why go to $60. Some other guy is asking $75, bawhahahahaha. I have extra Pmags I could sale and I wish they were worth $75 a pop or near 6X what they were selling for 3 days ago but they aren't. They are still being made and shipped to sellers. Another guy is asking $100. These people are kidding themselves.

Funny, and true.

I remember a while ago when there were plenty of people complaining about Sierra Guns (aka the Clinton guy), but I found that company to be a good resource (they stock a lot of firearms, great variety, and pretty good prices). It seems like it was the guys trying to sell one or two privately held used guns who resented Sierra's hundreds of ads (ads they had to paid for, but I'll admit that they did "bump" the ads way too frequently sometimes).

What is NOT funny is how knee-jerk reactions like this by KSL have the potential to ruin lives and livelihoods. AFAIK, Raymond & Co. there at Sierra relied on two forms of marketing: Gun Shows and KSL. Perhaps that isn't a sound business plan to put all your eggs in two baskets, but it was a strategy that worked for a guy running a business out of his house. Situations like this with KSL worry and sadden me.

The tragedy was so horrific. Words can't describe how sad it still makes me.

I just wish it had never happened. I also wish these poor decisions by business and political leaders would stop.

Edited to fix a typo.

Even though I resent KSL's decision to remove the firearms section I can see their desire to remove themselves from any sort of legal retribution if something terrible where to happen here in Utah. It's not that they are making any statement about the 2A, rather just let someone else who's sole priority is providing such a service do the legwork and a more professional job.

I didn't like the KSL classifieds anyway. Their search engine was poor, cluttered, clunky, and often brought up completely irrelevant items. To be honest this is what I was hoping for, it's just that there were too many people using KSL in the first place.

You will find out really fast how stupid you really are.

I'll make the bold prediction that if the dude trying to get $50 for one hasn't sold them then the guy asking $100 on the exact same site isn't going to get any bites. We will see.
