Hi guys,

Purchased a two point sling I really liked, mainly just to not have to lay my rifle down in grass, or wherever, comfortably sling it over, but I've realized I'm going to have to use it during weapons manipulation, or it gets in the way..

Thats where you guys come in :D

I have this sling: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2515512905/spec-ops-patrol-sling-nylon

and it's my first. I'm having trouble finding a comfortable way to carry it, as I dont have a side sling swivel near the FSP, and I'm using it basically the way it's pictured in the link.
Having some real difficulty finding the perfect length bringing it up to aim, and switching from left/right shoulder for drills.

Do you guys have any advice or links that could help me out? I looked around youtube with little success, and I've no time or money to try out a ton of different slings.

Does it have a quick adjust setup?

The Vtac is my favorite, but the Vcas is pretty similar and both allow you to quickly adjust the length so that the weapon can be tight against your body to search people or climb, then long enough to shoulder or transition to weak side a moment later.

When transitioning to weak side, drop your weak elbow (don't lead with your hand) through the sling add your first action.

Thank you for the policestore link, it was pretty helpful in working out the gist of it.
And yes, I have a quick adjust, with a quick release buckle.
I guess it's just going to be a lot of experimentation.
Does anyone who uses a two point use the metal loop on the buttstock, or around the buffer tube on the buttstock? Around the stock towards the end seems much more natural when slung, but for carrying american or african style I feel like the loop is easier.

Anyone with a two point care to add any tips or tricks from experience?

I just rig my patrol rifles Israeli style and call it a day. The FSB "side swivel" Dan be bypassed nicely with a Paracord loop.

My preferred carry method is the Guitar case style, muzzle down, rear strong side.
