I have a policy with Eastern, but I (thankfully) have no knowledge of how they react to a loss claim. I hope to never find out.

And in starting my USAA policy, they wanted a list of all firearms and their serial numbers.

I find that interesting, because the company has never made me provide the serial numbers. But I've had homeowner's policies with them for many years (since I fired State Farm long ago).

Interesting. I've had VPP with USAA for years, when I update annually, the company simply asks me to add or subtract anything I've previously listed. But -- I haven't added anything for years since I've already been well over the threshhold for what I can claim without substantially raising my premiums.
