May take in Hungarian Kalishniklone, imported '85, underfolder stock. Prospective client wants $750 store credit which I believe high.

Any opinions/links to further information? I thank you for your time.

BTW, I don't remember these coming in as underfolders, only fixed stocks. However, I am old and have been hit upside the haid many times since then. Any remember underfolders on Hungarians?

A Hungarian underfolder for $750 is a good deal depending on its condition. Just make sure it is imported by Kassnar (preban) not KBI (postban).

man who do all the guns I want have to be like 700 bucks or more? THR doesnt have a "Donate EBR to poor college student" program or anything does it?

The .30-30 levergun is a good rifle. Before you sell it short, try single-loading a semi-auto---or try to top off the magazine in one without taking it out of the gun.

Get a good peep sight for it (Wild West Guns and Ashley Outdoors/Xpress Sights and Williams make good ones) and if you're still thinking tactical put an Ashley Outdoors/Xpress Sights Scout mount on it and get a couple of goodies to fill the rail depending on your mood... A red dot sight on a levergun is a surprising amount of fun.

I'm really kind of surprised that the more savvy Police Departments don't make up something similar for their Officers--it will do pretty much anything a black rifle will without looking "scary."

I adore leverguns, however I have two problems with MY levergun. 1, its difficult for me to keep unloaded and then bring swiftly into action. We have children who frequent the house when I'm away and my aunts are blissninnies. Thus... The .30-30 is a fine round for deer, however I live in a crowded neighborhood and I dont wanna hurt some innocent bystander. With a .223 hollowpoint the danger isnt quite so big, yes it still exists however... I cant get a handgun till I'm 21 here, I'm turning 20 this november so... We do have a shotgun in the house but I let my grandfather(who is somewhat of a marvel with a 12 guage) handle that...
