Value City Furniture/American signature

Well I went shopping for furniture and my wife wanted to go to Value City Furniture who is and American Signature company, and on the door they have the NO FIREARMS sign saying they are protecting their customers. Well ofcourse I told my wife we arnt buying from them now.

So I sent the corp office a nice email explaining I wont shop at their store and I asked how are they protecting me by not allowing me to carry my firearm.

Heres was the response:

Thank you for taking the time to contact our corporate office in writing.

The concealed weapons policy has been put in place for all of our corporate

stores and was implemented for the protection of our customers and our
business. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.


Thank you for your inquiry.

Reply back that you are legally authorized and trained, and that their signage affects ONLY people with similar qualifications. It does not affect any criminals who may shop, and steal, at their stores.

And that you do not intend to spend any money with the company until they change their policies. Let them know what you bought, for how much, and from who.

And in your letter to them, I include ( after i cover over
credit info) a copy of the bill of sale.......rub it in their noses.
And perhaps mention the power of negative 'word of mouth'.
