Hi All I was wondering what a Colt Officers model in .22 magnum is worth.

Tha gun is about 95% with a little wear on the blue on the end of the barrel, its otherwise in excellent condition, and the lock up is perfect, very little in the way of a turn line.

The serial number is 78xxx so according to proofhouse it dates to 1960.
I have always wanted one but I'd prefer .22lr, but this appeared in a local shop, no box or papers.

as a guide, the Blue Book says only 850 where made in .22 mag and to add 100% to their printed values.

So if you are correct at 95%......then adding 100%, the Blue Book says.....850.00

Remember, the Blue Book is just a guide, not the last word.

Colt Officers Model

Well,

It would be worth $400-500 to me but I believe I am in the minority. I don't understand why though, if it said Diamondback on it people would stand in line to pay $1100.00
Most people seem to ignore the officer model though it has the same or at least simular
lockwork and trigger and at least as nice of sights.
As Old Fuff says that leaves more for us who do like them, others can chase their Glocks,
Xds and such I like old fashioned American hand tooled steel.

$695 is a very good deal for an OM in .22 WMR in the condition described; as stated these are pretty rare. If you really want a .22LR as a shooter, they're easier to find.

I'd pay that in a second. You see I have, prewar .22 and .38 OMs and post war .22,.32 and .38OMMs and I NEED a full set!
