I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some sort of "blue book" value on a LNIB Jericho 941. It's a gun on my "must have" list and my local dealer has one in stock. Original case, still has everything, including the original factory boxes of 9mm and .41AE ammo. However, I know it's overpriced. I'd just like an idea of how overpriced and whether or not it's worthwhile for me to look elsewhere.

It's a Tanfolgio CZ clone, so price accordingly. The 41AE is only good if you can find ammo, or much more importantly, brass, if you reload. Otherwise, the 41AE is a paperweight. Look into a Witness 9mm, which can get convertable top ends, (in the "small frame) to 40 and 22lr, or the "large frame 22lr, 45, 40, 9mm, 38 Super,10mm convertables.
If you just want the 941 because of what it is, then I wouldn't pay more than $250, period. EAA Witness magazines might still work in it, older CZ mags probably.

I would pay $600 for it. It has collectors value, even if the .41 top-end isn't particularly practical.

Also, Witness mags work in Jerichos/Baby Eagles but not CZ mags (the magazine catch slot isn't quite in the same place).

Thanks for the info guys. Yeah, I know it's a Witness/CZ75 clone. But it's the Jericho that I want. However, I'll let the one in the local store continue to take up shelf space for the price they're asking. It's been there for over a year and I keep balking at the price everytime I see it. It's not that I'm not willing to spend a good chunk of change on it, but I just don't see the point in paying for more than it's worth, no matter how much I want one...

If they've had it for a year, perhaps now is the time to ask them about that high price? Try the gun store owner's favorite phrase: "I've got $xxx in CASH on me right now..."

If they won't budge on the price, then, yeah, go ahead and pass. Not like Jerichos are really all that 'rare' or something, there's one in my local shop right now, can't recall the price, but has both barrels. Be kinda neat...

The problem is that the guy's asking a grand for it. I may talk to him about coming down off of the price, see if he'll take $600 or so for it. He's a good guy and I buy a lot from his place. He's always got a nice selection of WWII vintage rifles, and likes to stock oddball stuff. He even keeps cheap .303 British ammo in stock (the reason I started shopping there to begin with). Next time I've got $600 to spare I might ask him about the Jericho...

:what:

$500, tops.

I got a NIB Black Baby Eagle 9mm fullsize with a complete stainless slide and barrel assembly (including spring, rod and slide lever) for $500. The Jericho 941 is a Baby Eagle, through and through.

I am willing to pay a bit (and I mean bit, as in small amout) more for a Jericho over a Baby Eagle or Uzi Eagle, though. It's kinda important that the pistol be a Jericho, for me at least. However, there's a reason the local one has been there so long. I ain't paying *that* much for it...

That is absurdly high. I have seen them going on the auction sights in the last couple years for anywhere from $450-$600 depending on condition. Do not pay that much. If you want one keep an eye on gunbroker, gunsamerica, or auctionarms.
