Greetings,
What the rough value of a 1915 production .455 Webley Mark V with the 6" barrel?
The gun is all matching, and has NOT been cut for .45 ACP. The bore is still mirror, but the exterior bluing is thin and definitely worn, but no pits. The grips have a few scratches, but no chips, and accurately reflect the overall condition of the gun. Lanyard rig is present.
As expected for a Mark V, the weapon is fitted with the birdshead grip frame, just like the earlier Mark I to IV in the Webley series. While the birdshead works well with a 4" barrel, it is pretty awkward with the 6", and its easy to see why the square butt was soon introduced for the excellent and prolific Mark VI.
Thanks,
Hunter
