Value of Enfield 2A1?

I'm going to look at a Enfield 2A1 in .308 and was wondering what it would be worth. Is there anything other than the obvious to look for? Don't have any more info to go on right now, but any info would be appreciated.

I sold mine at a local gun show two months ago for $285.

Shooters in Columbus, GA has/had them last time I was in (2 wks ago) for either $249 or $299- cant remember which.

I have one rifle and one carbine version (AIM was selling them several years ago). Both go bang/feed/function.

Understand that one is only supposed to shoot military 7.62X51 (7.62 NATO). Steel/action is supposably not up to handling hot hunting loads/hot hand loads.

Havent shot either one for awhile, but seem to remember that POA=POI happened best with a fixed bayonet.
