I have a Kahr MK9 stainless that is NIB unfired.
A friend of mine wants to buy it.
What is a fair price?

I was thinking $475 to $500, because on gunbroker they are going for about $475 (cheapest and only one at this price) to $530 (average and a couple) plus shipping ($25) and transfer ($25). So at 500 I would still be saving him anywhere from $25 to $80.

Any input would be appreciated.

That sounds fair to me.

I sold a Kahr MK40 a few months ago for $450 (and I also had an Alessi Talon Plus holster). So I imagine $475 is good for a NIB gun with no shipping or FFL fee.

I'd say $450 to $475 would be fair.

Even though it is unfired by you, it still can be considered used. Having an Elite trigger and nite sights would definitely bring up the value.

Depends on the friend.

A close friend, well, friend prices are just cost no markup. Of course, transfer fees, etc, are on the friend.

A ordinary friend, you probably can ask retail - minus a bit.

For an ordinary friend, you are asking a good price.

For a close friend, I would low ball to cost.

By the way, the Kahr MK9 is a great pistol. Personally, I would keep the little sucker.

Well I got it for $250. EXPLANATION HERE
He knows this and he wants a REALLY good deal - like $350.
I still don't know whether to keep or sell or trade, but I do know that he won't be buying it.

BTW - He is a co-worker friend that has been with the company for about 4 months now.
