XD45 Value

There's a guy at work wanting to sell his xd45 comes with everything as it would new he's asking 575. I know the gun is basically like new. I have no experience with Springfield's and would like a little help with the price. It looks like I could get a new one on gunbroker for 530 plus shipping and transfer fees. So his price seems a little high. Any help would be appreciated.

For a regular xd, I would think no more than $450 used

Just FYI, if you want to shoot SWC reloads, regular XD45 won't work as the straight slide center rib will allow the extracting case rim to hit the shoulder of the SWC bullet in the magazine.

They fixed this issue in the XDm45 by modifying the center slide rib and it is angled down (like many other semi-autos) to push down on the round in the magazine to allow the extracting case rim to clear the SWC bullet shoulder.

Value of anything being sold is what the buyer is willing to pay.

Seems high to me too. The XD series is great though, they're very solid guns.

I paid 425 for one with factory night sights used very little, been 100% for me. good gun.
