The holy grail to a collector of knives like that is 'New, In the Box, with the papers'!

A used knife like that might be worth 1/4 as much as a NIB one like the above.

I can't put a dollar value on yours, but don't plan to retire on it.

Camillus knives don't tend to bring the money of comparable Case knives either, as there are way more Case collectors looking for them.

I was referring to what appears to be minor scratches on the bolsters. There's also some discoloration on the nail nick. It does not appear to have been cut with or sharpened.

RC is spot on, New In Box or New Old Stock knives with the box and papers bring the maximum sold price.

thanks for all the replies. anyone know what they would sell this one for? not trying to make alot but worried i may undersell.

Put it on eBay with a no reserve price and start it at $5.

And really good item description and photos.

Fair market value when the bidding starts will insure you get top dollar out of it.

Here is some input that I've found.. a new one goes for 10 dollars to 30 dollars..

I saw a used Vintage but in pristine shape go for 69.00 or Best offer

Ive seen old Vintage 717 but New IN the box ( NIB ) with all paper work go for 140 dollars

I think yours would be in the category of the one I linked too above, but in much worse shape..
I'm guessing it might be worth 10 dollars. its just an opinion... personally , I like knives but would not give you ten dollars for it.. its a collectable if in perfect shape, which yours is not. This is an opinion based on what is out there and what they are going for in perfect shape.

thanks for replies. that isn't rust on the blade is light reflecting on it. i think i will try ebay with good closeup pics
