If the individual weapon is known to work well, quality being sometimes hit or miss with Century at various times in its history, I'd ballpark it at between 400-500 bucks depending on extra mags, ammo and goodies thrown in. Yes, the 7N6 ammo has been banned from import (for now?), but Sliver Bear and Military Classic Russian ammo is still very inexpensive. And in fact, there is SO MUCH 7N6 in the US it is still pretty cheap for now. I have one of the aforementioned rifles and it works very well and has maybe half the recoil of an 7.62 x 39 AK. I have a few thousand rounds of the 7N6 ammo but it is corrosive (and I am lazy about cleaning AK's!) so I only shoot the commercial anyway--which is imported and cheap. To be safe, I would plan on keeping a stock of ammo for this rifle tucked away if you purchase it only becasue it can be sometimes hard to buy over the counter at some stores. It is a fun little gun, the only thing mine doesn't like is after market mags--it likes the old bakelite commi-bloc ones just fine. Keep in mind, too it really isn't a 'tack driver' out past 200 yards or so.
