It depends where you sell it but the value of an unfired TC Seneca is between $500 - $600, with the expected average price to be about $550.

Great - About what I thought....

:D Michael, It's worth what somebody is willing to pay you for it..., balanced with how patient you are willing to be to wait for somebody to come to your price. :D

So you may find somebody who's gotta have it and will outbid an offer of $600, or you may find that lots of folks want it, but can't give more than x for it. I'd love a Seneca, but .36 caliber rifles are not that rare..., a Seneca in .45 is the most desired model and what I'd be interested in, for it's light like a .36 but one can use it on deer in many many states.

36 Maxie Ball

Howdy, I'm a new member 60 years old. Been shooting muzzleloaders most all my life.
Now a T/C 36 cal. Seneca using a Maxie ball and 60 grains of 3f BP is good enough for Pa. Whitetails. The ones I have taken didn't know what caliber I was using.

The Seneca was the prettiest little rifle that T/C ever made.
I have one in .45 & love it.
Have a Cherokee in .32 for squirrels & other small game.
Nice little hunting rifles.
Be patient & you'll do just fine.

For deer in pa nuzzleloading long gun must be .45 cal or larger ..36 cal not legal for deer
