Wow !

Hey there:
What ? 75 to 125 for the .223 ? That is crazy...........
I have taken P-dogs at 723 and 726 yards. many at the 500 yard mark and they are very dead. Fox at 300 plus. What is the 75 to 125 thing all about ?
Standard .22 rim fires will do that. Took a coon at 180 with my .17 HMR.
Know guys that have taken coyotees with the .17HMRs at 200 yards with one shot kills and no tracking. If that were the case he better get a .300 War bird or some thing on that order.

.22-250 is just as fast as .204,

True fact . . . if rodents are your only quarry, all of the aforementioned would be good choices . . . .17 Remington is hands-down the best choice if you graduate to yotes & hides you'd like to sell/mount & the .204 would be next. .204 is a bit more economical when reloading.
