Right: the Benelli is essentially the Cubist take on recoil operation; everything isn't quite where it usually is, but by all accounts it works swimmingly.
And just for a little more irritating pedantry, not all blowback guns have unmoving barrels. In the FN Five Seven pistol, the barrel is not positively locked to the slide, but it is allowed to "chase" the slide back some distance, and therefore slow down the opening of the breech. A few other guns (P90?), mostly pistols, have similar provisions.
