I just recently bought a new Vepr 7.62x39 and I love it! The problem is I find the stock to be way too uncomfortable...I have large hands and the thumbhole keeps digging into my hand. I did a little research and found out about adapter kits such as ACE and DPH for the Vepr from them to fit regular stocks. Awhile back I found a really good deal on an AK-100 series stock set and mount that I couldn't pass up. I know I would have to modify the receiver for the latch and I would probably send it off to Rifle Dynamics.
My question is, is it actually possible with an adapter to mount an AK-100 series stock and folding mechanism to a Vepr? Has anyone done this or seen it? I can't seem to find any info on this and I think this set up with some other upgrades from Jim would be real cool.
I have had other work by him and would do it again (and again, and again)
