Greetings. I'm trying to read between the lines on their website, but it seems that ACE is now producing a modular piece which turns any Ace stock into a folding stock:
As I understand it, if I buy rifle with an ACE stock installed, then the modular nature of the Ace stock will allow me to purchase a $60 piece which will allow my stock to fold. Sounds like a pretty good deal overall.
Has anybody tried this "FSM" component yet? Any comments on its durability, stability, etc? Yes, a folding stock has little utility beyond storage ease and addressing the IWCG (iwannacoolgun) virus, but I'm still trying to rationalize purchasing that $750 Daewoo rifle with ACE stock set. If I do install the FSM, I would have to buy an ACE entry-length stock, as the standard stock is too long for me already, much less with the addition of another inch of folding mechanism. Your comments always appreciated.
