Keltec SU16 in .223.

This. The 'c' variant is 4.7lbs unloaded, takes most AR accessories. Can be had for $600 or less. Availibility, on the other hand...

Any brush variant of levergun. My 30-30 at 6lbs. Not as light as the keltec, but still sports compact firepower in a respectable package.
It's my current hd weapon atm.
