So I broke the ears off my small tube for the VibraPrime. Wondered what would happen if I just held the pickup tube there in its place? Works like a champ. Get VP all set up to dispense, remove yellow tip from tube, hold that flush under the hole where primers will come out of VP with left hand. Operate VP as normal with right hand.

From there go straight to press or reinsert yellow tip to have loaded pickup tubes ready to go. So in breaking my VP, I accidentally figured out how to cut out a step & make it faster :)

Only issue was first couple tries letting the tube angle a little which will jam stuff up. As long as pickup tube is held square with bottom of VP the whole time it works really well.

This might be old news, but I don't remember seeing it mentioned before.

I have never used the tube that came with the vibra-prime.
Saw what you are talking about on a youtube vid long ago and the only mistake I have had is if I didn't get the tube all the way to the top first.
Once at the very top, I then wedge mine in there with no play in it - so it is not perfectly square with the bottom of the VP and is easier to hold that way. Still works every time.
First tube goes in the Dillon then I refill it and the rest and put the tip back on them so they are ready to go.

Yep - that's what I do. I only have 2 pickup tubes for each size but 300 total works out well. Been using the fiocchi primers that come in boxes of 150 so 2 boxes = 2 tubes + full press.

I'll give this a try... I've just been using the VP tube and dumping it straight into the Dillon... just doing 100 at a time. In any case, sure beats pecking at the primer tray 1 at a time!!
