It is pretty easy to strip. And it is easy to change calibers. they sell caliber conversion kits.
You do need tools to strip it...castle wrench and allen wrench. You remove the butt stock and three take down screws. The recoil spring comes out with the butt stock, takedown screws drop the trigger group and magazine guide. Then you remove the bolt handle and the bolt slides out.
I like it. I don't think it'll top my Sub2K for 9mm, but I might just have to pick one up in .40 S&W to go with the Glock 23 (or more likely a Glock 32 and a .40 conversion) that's on my list to get.
