Vigilante Stories?

Hey all,

First off, a random disclaimer of sorts. I know that honest THR fold wont even raise an eyebrow at what Im asking. However, lurkers and antis may just lump my question in with the thoughts of stereotypical gun loving ilk.

So. Anyway. Does anyone have any stories or links to stories if vigilante justice being enacted in modern times. Along the lines of the movie "A Time To Kill."

I remember seeing a video of a father shooting the child molester that killed his kid. I remember hearing stories of old timers in the inner city taking out a drug dealer etc.

Im just interested in reading accounts and stories of said events. And to any anti lurkers, I do not intend to engage in any activity listed above. So back off.

Define "vigilante". a member of a volunteer committee organized to suppress and punish crime summarily (as when the processes of law are viewed as inadequate); broadly : a self-appointed doer of justice. IOW, one or both. I don't include self-defense as vigilantism. Goetz is NOT an example of vigilantism.
