I have an Interarms Virginian Dragoon in 357 magnum (deputy model) circa 1983
5in SS. Love this gun. I'ts never let me down carrying or shooting it Trigger pull is crisp and breaks at 4lbs. More accurate then I am. Great plinker/camp gun. I have used it on badger, rabbit, fox, skunks and porcupine.
Any believers and lovers of these guns like me?

Hi...
Been shooting a stainless steel Virginian Dragoon in .44Magnum for many years.
Earlier this year I stumbled across a blued steel Virginian Dragoon in .44Magnum at a good price that I just couldn't pass up.
I really enjoy shooting these two revolvers.
I would like to find another in .45Colt, I saw one several years ago but by the time I decided I needed it, somebody else had bought it.

Many years ago I had a vintage 44 mag Dragoon. I bought it with a severely bent front sight thinking that it wouldn’t bother me. Well it did bother me so I regretfully sold it to fund the next “gotta have”.

I have a .44 blue version that I carry on my tractor whenever I am out and about my property. It's accurate and takes the recoil nicely.

A few years back there was a lot of talk about them. I haven’t seen as much talk recently, but that is no fault of the gun. Likely the product of more options available on the market from more recognizable names in the firearm industry, and the affordable options brought to market from Italy.

I never knew the Virginian Dragoon was made as a Deputy Model. Would like to see photos! And, come to think of it, I can't recall ever seeing a Dragoon in .357 Magnum. The few I've seen were .44 Magnums.

I have two, an 8 3/8" 44 Mag, and a 12" Buntline 357 Mag. I passed up a 12" 44 Mag and I regret it. I understand that the Buntlines were only available on special order from the factory.

This old gal..

Has done the chores for me for the last several years. Over the rounds she's loosened up enough to make me take the plunge and pick up something else..
I think this will suffice fairly well.. Although nothing can truly replace a first love. Especially in wheelguns.

Ol' blue has been retired from the magnum loads for a short while now.
Maggie can sure take them in stride. If she ever gets loosened up like ol' blue there'll definitely be something wrong.

Thanks for the photo. I have shot a few Virginian Dragoons, all in .44 Magnum. I can probably count onthe fingers of one hand the number of these I've seen. I did see a case colored/blue on brand new in a gun shop, but for the most part all I've seen were stainless. The only gun I've seen that is more rare is the High Standard Crusader .44 Magnum

I had one a SS 44 magnum . I didn’t like it enough to keep it . I bought it for $200 dollars and sold it for $400 dollars to a guy that collects them . He drove about 2 hours to meet me .
